Default Sore fingers!

I am currently shooting my bow, 54@29.5, using a Neet glove(very thin) and a Can't Pinch calf hair tab. My middle and ring fingers get very sore after about 20-30 shots. I've been shooting 3-4 times per week for 3 months and it's not getting any better. I definitely want to shoot a tab from now on. Any suggestions for a tab that is thicker(more protective) than what I am using now? Thanks.

Hi hgsnpr,

I'm not sureI can suggest a heavier tab. Seems like the better tabs are actually pretty thin. The thicker the tab, the more chance that you risk getting unwanted grooves in it. If you are going that direction though, maybe try a cordovan type tab like Alaskan Bow Supply has. I think though that either way, a glove would probably offer more protection, again, I prefer cordovan tips.

With the bow that you are shooting, it would seem likely to get some pinch.

I like the Neet PFT tab, the one with the felt spacer between the fingers. Get the one that's got the superleather face, not the calfhair one. It's kinda thick for good protection but that superleather will not groove up on ya.
