Thanks for posting the pictures Semisane. I couldn't get them to upload to the site. Working with pictures and creating avatars from my pictures remains a challenge to me. But, if anyone can help identify the markings on this gun and identify it, I will certainly appreciate it.

I would be very cautious when shooting a Damascus shotgun of any type. While some are safe others are not. I saw a 12 ga Damascus shotgun that had blown up in a shooters hands. He lost his right eye. Yours may be safe but for me the risk is to high. I read an article years ago about how inconsistent the manufacturing was when these guns were built. Scary!!

I agree with oldwun that gun may be too unsafe to shoot. The best thing you can do is take it to a gunsmith and tell them what you want to shoot and have them inspect it for you. It's better than losing sight or worse.
