Default GT'S or Axis

I was about to buy some GT xt's for this coming deer season. My buddy said that the guy at his archery shop said axis is a better choice for deer huting so he bought the axis and is trying to talk me into them. What you guys think?

Both are good arrows but I will throw another one into the mix.

The Easton AC SuperSlim.

I bought the Axis's ,beside's all the negative review's that I heard about them this season .My take on the Axis's is that they're not as bad as I've heard ,maybe over time they'll prove me wrong ,but so far i really like the Axis's .Either arrow should be a good choice ,but I'd buy more Axis's if I was choosing myself.

No problems here with the Gold tips. Great hunting arrow.

I have not had any problems with my axis arrows. That being said. I will be switching back to Easton XX-78's Super Slam arrows as soon as I lose or break my axis arrows.

axis=junk at least in my experiance . Id get accs if you want a good lite arrow , They are worth the price . most will hit the same spot if you are a good arrow builder . The axis's I had made a patern like a shotgun .

I like my axis so far. The gold tips I tried were tough but would not fly good at all.
