Default Superlite Aluminums?

I have been a carbon guy since I started shooting but am considering shooting some aluminum arrows to see how they compare.

What gives with the 'superlite' designation on some shafts I see for sale on eBay? Is a xx75 2315 the same as a xx75 2315 superlite?

Looking for some enlightenment here from you folks that are shooting those boat anchors...

Thanks

Superlite is the series of shafts with thin walls, as in the 2314 and 2413 as compared to shafts with wall thicknesses of 17 or 19 thousandths.

the aluminums are fine arrows. I use to shoot the 2312 easton superlites in xx75. BUT, the thing that I have discovered with carbons is they don't appear to bend, stay straight much longer, and it takes a bunch to break one. not so with alluminum. I just prefer the durability of carbon. I still have most of my original arrows from when I bought the bow. I have bought a whopping dozen arrows in three years. still have nearly all of them.

A 2315 is a 2315. Same diameter, wall thickness and weight, regardless of whether it's designated a superlite or not. I don't like to go below the .015" wall thickness because you get into problems with durability with the thinner wall shafts. 2315's are very good and plenty durable.

I use the 2314 xx75 Superlites exclusively. The biggest problem is when I have a Robin Hood and break the nocks. The Eastons use a uni-nock and I can't find them in a regular sporting goods store.

Mouse, I tried the ACC's and Gold Tips but prefer the XX-78's in 2514. Fast and accurate with no chance of carbon failure on release or on impact with the animal that may possibly contaminate the meat with carbon fibers. I guess you could call it CONFIDENCE in my equipment.
