Default Site question!

Ok i have a cosmic impact archery 1 pin sight and it was shooting low so i moved it as far down as it goes and is better but is still shooting about 2 inches low now what? do i adjuct my rest or what do i need to do?

Well moving your nock point down would fix your problem but then you might be out of tune? Hmmm someone smartet than me will help you with this one.

You can reverse the little bracket that the sight ring goes through which should give more than enough adjustment down.

I'll try to answer by asking a question. How high is your anchor? By comparison do you use the usual kisser button and peep sight? The distance between your nocking point and your peep sight should be about 5 1/2" to 6" inches if you anchor like most people. This should leave you enough travel in the sight to reach at least 60 yards.

What you may have to do is lower your anchor point, which means a corresponding raising of your peep and kisser buttons. It also may mean a slight adjustment in drawlength, which is another issue.

If your bow is tuned you do not move your rest. There is the possibility that you can move the whole sight ring down, too. I'm not all that familiar with plastic sights.
