Default Alpha Shox - Better than Limb Savers?

Hi Guys;

I am wondering if Alpha Shox seem to work better than any of the various other Limb Saver products for split limbs. I just put "Frankenstein 2" together with a new riser and the split limbs.
Thanks.

I have them on my bow and while I can't tell you that they perform better I would be surprised if they didn't since there is more surface contact area compared to regular limbdsaver. Also they aren't likely to ever come off unless you really want them off.

I don't know if they actually work better but they are a better product.Easier to work with and last longer.

I like them. I thought they would cost much more than they do. I like them.

Gained speed by switching out limb savers to alpha shocks??

Is that a split limb only situation, or could solid limbs see an increase as well?

Dave; I think they only make them for split limbs. I saw an ad for them that says they are designed for the Hoyt "patented" 3/4 " gap between the limbs. I did measure the gap on my split limbs, and it is between 3/4 and 13/16", so I should be able to use them. I'll probably pick some up tomorrow. Thanks to all who responded.
