Default Soft loc bracket vibrating!!

I put my soft loc bracket on a while ago, and noticed a distict buzzing sound as soon as I put it on. I have to use the spacers to get it out away from the risor on my Cybertec. I have it mounted in the far back holes of the bracket. I can't seem to get the buzz out of it. I am very surprised that its making noise.

Anyone seen this before? If so, what can I do to remedy it. I already put some mini limb savers on it, but no help.

If you are talking about the soft lock kit for the Keller sight then good luck.I love the sight but it has buzzed since the very first arrow I put through it.

Did you use the rubber gasket that comes with it?

Cheif, I'm just mounting the quiver to a Copper John sight. Becuase I have to use the last holes in the quiver block becuase of my NAP QT 4000 getting in the way, Its making a buzzing sound. If I take it off and shoot, its gone.

Couldn't you still try some rubber washers or some moleskin between the quiver bracket and the site bracket?

I love my soft lock and don't have that problem. I use the rubber gasket though and mount mine the way you describe minus the spacers.

Muzzyman,
I use the mounting block that comes with some of the old Kwikee quivers I had laying around and have experience no problems with my Soft Loc and Copper john. Most bow shops have extras so you might give that a try.

Dang it Muzzy, leave it to you to have a problem with the the soft loc quiver. I just ordered one yesterday for my protec thanks to one of your threads on trying to descide between the Hoyt or the Alpine.
( I'm just giving you poop) Did you ceck all the scews or bolt or whatever holds it together? Inspect all parts and peices for any little cracks? Does it buzz with just the bracket?

Relax Timbow, I'm sure its just the way I had to mount it, and I will get it fixed up. Its not a real loud buzz, just noticable compared to not having it on. I'll give the moleskin thing a try, that should do it. Other than that, its an awesome quiver. Very happy I picked it.

Hey Muzzy I got my soft-loc today from Cabelas I think I hate it? first of all the camo (forest floor) is a terrible match my bracket alone does not vibrate but when I shoot with the quiver on theres a nice little buzz after one shot the quiver comes off the bracket I put some rubber washers between the bracket and the sight to get the bracket off my cable gaurd. It was a pain to get five arrows in it without the vanes touching. I plan on taking it off when I get in my stand but you should be able to shoot with it on without it coming off. How well does your finish match? I just might send it back.
