It's no Bitzenberger, but it's better than any other I've tried in it's price range. You'd have to pry my cold, dead fingers off'n it to get my Bitz away from me.

I thought of the Bitz, but thats around $30 more that I dont have right now, or that I'm gonna spend on a Kwikee Quiver or however the heck you spell it.

The JoJan is a little bit of a pain to get your fletching angle set just the way you want, but it's strong point is the indexer is positive and repeatable. The sore spot I've got with the other less expensive jigs I've tried is they don't index properly.

Edit: One thing I did with the JoJan, since the clamps don't have any locator marks, was figure out how far away from the nock I wanted to mount my fletches, then I scribed a line on the clamp to mark where I wanted to locate the back end of the fletch in the clamp.

I was in the market for a jig ,I was on ebay last week and got a used Bitz on there for 45.00 with a right helical clamp .I thought this was a pretty good deal and couldn't turn it down.I hate having to pay the bowshop the 3 dollar's everytime I wrecked a fletching and I also want to do some custom arrow's for myself in the near future.

I have owned a JoJan as well and it doesn't compare to my Bitz.

You might try the Grayling jig. I bought one for $30 and love it! Some people have a problem with it not being metal, but it is pretty sturdy.
