Default Changing cam on Cybertec

I have a 2002 Cybertec with the Versacam 3 on it set at 29" draw 63 lbs. Will changing the cam to the Versacam 2 be more efficient because of the max length on the 2? I know I will probably need to change cables and string but I had planned on doing that right after hunting season. Thanks, Chris

Changing to the #2 cam will make the bow more efficient. You would be using more, or in your case, all of the power stroke of the cam. I too shoot a Cybertec, and I ordered mine with the #2 cam for this reason as my draw is 28.5". I get more rotation and more efficiency out of it. You will also have to change out the idler wheel when you do this.

Good luck, hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I didn't know I had to change the idler. Again, thanks. Chris

Not a problem. Yep, the idler is smaller on the Versacam #2.

Again, good luck.
