Default Peep Sight on Short Axle Bows

I am close to buying a new shot & light.
Some perusing of various bow reviews mention problems with peeps on short Axle length bows
due to the acute string angle. Anyone have any experiance with this?

I draw 30" which make for a very steep angle

It can create some problems some of which can be remedied. Specialty makes a peep with a 37 degree angle for just such applications. They also have the Hunter SuperPeep which is bigger and has a tube aligner if you so desire. I don't desire. I hate rubber tubes, but that's another discussion. The Hunter Super is 1/4" diameter hole when the insert is removed, right nice for hunting. 3/16" with the insert in. You can also get Verifier lenses for it if you happen to be one of us Oldies that have trouble seeing those blurry pins.

Hope this helps.

specialtyarch.com is where you can find the peep that BGfisher talked about. I can hardly see my sight pins, but they are crystal clear using the superball peep and a pink (weakest Power) verifier. they have 37 & 45 degree angle peeps to fit differen length bows. GGBH
