Default Arrow straighterns

OK Another dumb question. Do any of you guys use arrow straighterns for your carbon arrows. How does this work? I didnt think you could straighten a carbon arrow if it was bent.

Carbons don't get bent, most come from the factory already crooked. You can't make them straighter excepet by cutting off whats not straight. As a rule carbons maintain what ever straightness they have from the factory until they are beyond use. When buying carbon arrows pick the most expensive grades you can afford and be sure that you cut off material from both ends of the shafts in order to get the staightest arrows you can.

Unfortunately this is all too right! [:@]

You can spin arrows on the straightener to find the straighest part and line up your broadheads.

BJ, it's funny but sad. I have had good luck cutting them down around 27" and using my WB rest as a mini overdraw.

5er, I know what ya mean. I no longer use carbons for target, I can get aluminums down to the same weight and no worries about spine or straightness issues. I still use carbons for hunting but only after checking them over good.
