Bowtech Crossbows

Just wondering if anyone heard of them?.

Back in 2002 I bought my frist bowtech, an extreme solo, still got it and it's a keeper.

But anyways I talked to one of the guys at Bowtech and he was telling me at the time that they where testing out a proto-type crossbow, and this baby smokes and I mean smokes, he told me that it was clocking in on the chrono at a little over 400 fps, just amazing don't you think?.

I'm just checking because I have crossbow friends out here that were asking me, thanks.

It never went past the prototype stage.

If crossbows "catch on" and start becoming legal in most states, you will see most if not all of the major bow manufactures start making them. Count on it.

With the right cocking mech, and enough pounds with more efficient cams... Yeah, I could see 400 fps being pretty easy for them to get to.. And if crossbows become a biger seller I'm sure you will see a lot of R&D go into them and you will get a lot more performance out of them than you are getting now.. Don't know what the limit would be but they probably aren't even close to it right now.
