RE: Dipped arrow question
I have found that on a carbon arrow, they adhere MUCH better to the arrow. Don't know about aluminum, but I would predict they would stick great, but I think fletching adheres better to aluminum anyway. As far as replacing, use a commercially available fletching stripper, with a new blade, and be carefull. Yes, the lacquer will come off as well, but if you can put the new feather on in the exact same spot, you'll never notice.
