Default No Peep set up problem

I have one of the older no-peeps, not micro adjustable, and every time I get it lined up just right, when I torque down the two holding screws, it messes it up. Am I going about something wrong? Can anyone give me any hints? It's about to get the boot.

I did have the same trouble with mine as you have.
I just adjusted it the way Siskyou did.
then when I tightened it down it fell right into place.

Ok, I'll give that a go, guesstimate it slighly out, then tighten and hope things come together. Thanks.

SAME problem here man. I really can't recall how I got passed it but I believe that it was the same way the guys above did. Good luck man. Once you get it setup, you'll like it trust me.

Hey guys, I tinkered at lunch. Took about only 5 pulls or so, mostly just to make sure it lining up wasn't a fluke, but it's now dead on. Close my eyes, draw, open them and it's there, with everything locked down solid. Things are looking up

Based on your experience, if the dot is touching the circle instead of being centered in it (mines not, just curious), how far off the mark is your shot at 30 yards?

I did mine by myself, and if I had to do it over I would get a buddy to help. Much easier to have someone do the adjusting while you are at full draw.
