Default GT spine chart

I am looking to buy some Gold Tip arrows (switching from ST Axis) and have a question on arrow selection. My arrow length is 28.5 at a 70# draw, which puts me (according to the chart) on the edge of the 5575 (400). I know a few of you have mentioned that it is a good idea to go w/ a stronger spined arrow, so would it be a good idea to move up to the 7595 (300) arrows?

Thanks!

THat is my exact dimensions, 28.5" arrow @ 70# and I went with the 7595. Especially if you are using a 125 head. If you are using a 100 or lighter you could get away with the lighter arrow. I'd rather be a little overspined than underspined.

Both my Gold Tip XT and 3-D Pro's have been 7595's. These are 28.5" and are being shot out of a 71# bow! I tinkered around with the 55/75's and wasn't grouping as well. I will be sticking with the 75/95's as like it has been said, I find it better to be over-spined instead of under-spined!

Thanks for the advice guys. I was leaning towards the heavier arrow.

I shoot the 7595 in a 29.75" shaft 125g head out of my Firestorm lite @ 74 lb and get really good flight from them. I also shoot a 4degree offset. I'm pretty sure they'll shoot well for you/ What bow will you be shooting them out of?
