Can't help you with the drop zone but I have an APA Twister Safari on my Allegiance and it works great.

The Drop Zone will have enough left adjustment on the Allegiance,I know a couple guy's who are shooting them on an Allegiance, and Old Glory with No problem.

Im shooting one on my Allegiance and it has plenty of adjustment with room to spare. It works great on my bow.

I have one on my Allegiance as well and I have plenty room to spare. I also use Blazers and have no clearance issues. As far as whether or not to go with the hunter or not, that's up to you. My view is if you buy the rest and like it you might as well spend the money and make sure you get what you want.

Ok if not the hunter how about the regular drop zone instead of the guide model I don't like the adjusters hanging out

That's actually what I have. The micro-adjust knobs are nice on the guide series, but I have had no trouble micro-adjusting mine with my fingers.
