Default Actual brace height on your 04 Patriot Single Cam??

As some of you know, I got the Vapor Trail VTX string and cables. I got them on this weekend with no issues thanks to some help from others that I gathered in another thread.

Before I took the old string off, the bow was way out of spec. The tuning gap was around .4" and the ATA was around 33 5/8" and the bow was only drawing around 67lbs. When I got the new string on the bow, all went well and I got the tuning gap setup properly and the ATA back in check at 33" exactly, and the bow drawing 72lbs, only to find that my brace height was almost the same as it was on the old string. Bowtech's manual says it should be around 7 3/4" when it is in spec, but mine is at 7 1/8 and it seems if I do anything to increase this, it throws my tuning gap off and everything else.

Is this normal or am I missing something?

With all that said, the bow seems to be setup extremely nicely now except for this brace height, I have the valley and let off adjusted perfectly and I can't wait to shoot this thing. I have only had it for about a week and should finally be able to get out to shoot it this upcoming weekend.

that 7 3/4" thing was a misprint. its 7 inches. it sounds like your bow is right on now.
