I use an easy an fletch, so they land where the back of the jig puts them. Seems to work well.
As far as prep work goes. I acetone the old glue off, wipe it down with a watery rag and let dry. Then it's gel superglue for me. Works great. NOT ONE blazer has come off my arrows. Ok, one did. but only after passing through an eighpoint and then burying itself horizontally (ground blind) in the dirt several feet
