Default Broadhead practice

When practicing w/ broadheads, do most of you shoot once, go to the target, pull your arrow, then go and shoot again? I find that if I shoot my normal 3 shot groups, I slice the veins on my arrows. I guess consistency is good, but I stick w/ shooting once. Plus, I think it's better practice to shoot a few good arrows, rather than a ton of mediocre ones.

Default RE: Broadhead practice

I use a 5 dot target and shoot at each dot so I don't cut vanes
I shoot more walk back stop and turn unknown distance style as opposed to known distance when target practicing and then shoot a broadhead once or twice to verify tune prior to hunting. Since I have been shooting the same set-up for over 10 years(If it ain't broke....)
I am not concerned with the flight of the broadhead. I know they fly to my pins. So I just shoot to verify this fact.
Good Luck!

Yes, I shoot at one spot, then retrieve the arrow. I have six different targets to shoot at through.
