Default offset with prong rest

Can a 4 degree offset be used with a prong rest if you use feathers? The reason I threw 4 degree out there is this seems to be a standard variation among online retailers.

Probably depends on your arrow diameter more than anything else.

what type of rest do most of you hunt only guys use with your helical or offset. I read alot of people are using helical but not that many are using drop away. What are you using?

I used to shoot a prong style rest. I bought a Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter and was blown away. The reason a drop away is better is because you can use helical vanes. These stabilize your vanes way better than straight vanes. I would buy a drop away rest if I were you. At first I was skeptical, but now I am glad I switched.
