Default Let Off and Drop Aways ?

I have noticed when measuring draw weight and let off, some drop aways served to the cable seem to make a change on the poundage and raise the let off numbers at full draw. On my Allegiance yesterday, I switched my dropaway cord to the factory cable slider and now I am measuring pretty close to 80% let off.
I am interested in your thoughts and how you are attaching a dropaway cord.....
Thanx....Jerry

Jerry, I attach mine to the slide. If the cord is too short, it can bind cables. Thus increasing weight. Depending on which cable the cord is attached to, you could also affect let off by binding the cable.

jerry the pull cord attached to the down cable will make it shoot tail low, on the equalizer cam. will change timing on bottom cam a little, giving you a wider valley and changing let off. works much better on cable slide. good shooting jim
