I Have Another Tuning Question

Does Your Arrow Move In The Opposite Direction When Adjusting Your Rest Horizontal? In Other Words, If I Move My Rest To The Left Will My Arrow Flight Go Further Right When Shooting At The Target? Thanks

If you move your rest to the left, the arrow will move left, because you will be pointing the arrow more left. If you raise it, it will fly higher, so on and so on.....Obviously, the same principle applies when sighting in, if you are shooting left, move the pin to the left, because that moves the bow to the right....understand?? Or did I really confuse you, because I thinks I cornfused myself......I know what I'm saying though, even if no one else does...[&:]

I Know It Was A Stupid Question But That Is What I Thought. The Guy At The Pro Shop, Who Supposedly As Been An Archer For Twenty Years, Tried To Tell Me Otherwise!

If You Read My Last Thread, You Will Understand Why I Was Asking. Once I Got My New Bow Sighted In, The Sight Pins Were No Longer In Line With My String & Arrow. They Were Considerably To The Left. One Of The Guys At The Pro Shop Told Me To Move My Rest Left To So My Pins Would Be Back In Line With Stirng And Arrow. However, That Would Make My Arrow To Left Creating The Same Problem I Had Before.

I Think I Should Move My Sight Pins Back To Their Original Location And Then Move My Rest Slightly Right To Correct My Problem Of Hitting The Target Four Inches To The Left. What Do You All Think?

If you place the string in the middle of the grip, and look down the arrow and the arrow is covered by the string, you are correct on the placement of the arrow rest. I would say perhaps this is arrow spine, have you shot a bare shaft? I would not move the rest out of centershot.
