Default Allegance or Switchback

I have owned Mathews bows before and had good luck with them!!
Tried a couple Bowtechs in the archery shop and didn't feel as smooth.
Bowtech seem to have a heavy draw feel to them.

Besides the speed is there any reason to go Bowtech.
Hows the warranty

Warranty is as advertused and questions are almost always answered the same day. Corporate Bowtech techs monitor this board and have helped many, including myself. I haven't owned a Mathews, so my opinion is biased, but from my stand-point Bowtech service is hard to beat.

I think you'll find the same opinion from other, more seasoned bow buyers as well.

You will find this board has a direct slant towards Bowtech. Especially this forum. It is known in many internet circles as the Bowtech forum.

With that said, Atlasman did a good review on both bows. I feel like his review was objective. Both bows are great. Pick the one you like best.

I guess it would depend on which bows you're comparing to which. The F cam bows (Liberty, Justice, Pro 40) draw as smoothly as anything out there, IMO. The Patriot and Mighty Mite may feel a little more stiff to you. The grips are different between BowTech and Mathews. The BowTechs are lighter. And across the line, if speed is a concern, the BowTechs are faster. I also feel there is no company in the business that supports their customers any more than BowTech.

Go with BowTech, they offer more choices in hunting AND target bows for 2005. Just pick your ATA length and then pick the speeds you want to shoot to find your perfect bow. If an easy draw is what you're looking for, go with the Liberty or Justice for a hunting bow or the Independence for fingers/spots or long draw hunting. If you want speed,, there is no match to the BlackKnight. BowTech has many NEW bows in the '05 line up that are sure to please EVERYONE
