Default Hey, Take A Look At This New Peep Sight!

I Am Currently Using A Hunter Hogg It Sight And 1/4" Aperture Peep Sight. I Like The Aperture Size But Not Real Crazy About The Rubber Tubing So I Am Looking For An Alternative. That's When I Ran Arcoss This Website. I Am Not Sure What To Think, I Just Thought It Was Interesting. What Do You Think? If Anyone Has Any Ideas Or Suggestions It Would Be Appreciated.

It's not really that new, I have seen it before. There was thread about it either here or at Eders a while ago.

And if you feel you must advertise something, you only need to do it in one forum. And we actually have one for reviewing or promoting products.

Looks like a Shurz-a-peep with a crosshair in it. To that end it's gonna look like an oblong hole with something blocking more light when you need the most light to come through. Been in archery over 30 years and have come to know when I see another gimmick.

From What I Read, I Think The Crosshairs Are Suppose To Help Center Your Sight Pins Within The Peep. Looks Like It Would Be Distracting And Hinder Focusing On Your Target. Anyway Won't Your Eye Natually Center The Sight Pins In Your Peep?

If you are using a Hogg it sight why aren't you centering the white ring of your scope in the peep?

I'll have to take a better look at these if they have a booth at the ATA Show. I have my doubts about them for several reasons. One of them being that my old eyes probably wouldn't work with the concept.

Bowshopper kind of hit the nail on the head. Many of the newer sights have a ring that should be centered in a larger peep. To "Center The Sight Pins In Your Peep" is an old way and should be changed. Centering the sight cage ring and vertically moving the pin group to 'locate' the desired pin allows for a larger peep. This will give you much more light input, a larger field of view and great accuracy.

Nobody made me moderator, who you made you my boss? But he has the same post on two forums. One of the sites I visit had this same product on it and the person posted on every forum just to get people to look at it.

It's not like I told the guy he couldn't do it. All I said was that if he was pushing something it only needs to be in one forum. If I was a moderator I would have deleted one of them. And if he isn't selling something all he as to do is ingnore the statement, or just tell me so like he did. I don't think he needs your help. It seems like you go out of your way to contridict me or irritate me sometimes. I don't know what your beef is with me or why but it is getting annoying.

I've seen one before, but not in a bow. It doesn't look like anything I would want to use. It might draw focus to the peep which is not want you want. Also looks a bit busy as well. Not to mention the little cross hairs could fly out or something when you shoot.

There is another product out that is a peep sight but instead of a round hole in it, it has crossed slots in it. When the light is really good it sort of makes a cross hair outline, and when it gets darker it's just sort of a round blury hole. I have used one before and it worked pretty good.

Sorry if you took my first post too personal or if it offended you. Sometimes we get people that try to push stuff here in a sneaky fashion though. If that isn't the case just ignore it. But you really only need to post your question in one forum though.

Paul

I had one. Didn't work for me.

Maybe I'm wierd but it blurred so much at full draw all I got was a pink hued mega peep. Low light, good light...all the same.

Plus it was..like 125 grains[:'(] (Exageration but it was BIG)
