Default What drop away rest?

Ok guys I'm sure i'll get a few different responses here, But, what is the best drop-away rest?

Of particular intrest is on Bowtechs such as the Allegiance.

I'd prefer it be simple enough to keep frequent adjustments simple or not neccesary.
Primary use -hunting secondary use -indoor competition

Or convince me that a drop-away is a fad and recommend a good non drop away.

As an additional question....

I see that drop aways such as the Trophy Taker series do not have teflon or a covering on the launcher? DOes that mean they make that metal on metal sound when drawing? can you cover it with moleskin or something?

So does the Trophy Taker

Badatta2d just put some mole skin or fleece tape on the launcher arm and arrow holder as pictured.

Neither should have any adverse affect on speed. She'll scream either way

I really like the Golden Key TKO. Tough to beat for the price at around $50. I found it to be fairly easy to set up; not any more or less complicated than a traditional style rest.

And the great thing about it is that you can shoot it as a drop away, as a standard prong style launcher, or use the "lizard toungue" type target launchers. So if you decide you don't like it as a drop away, or if you decide to switch from a drop away for hunting to a target style launcher for indoor, you won't need to invest in another rest.

I believe the rest that BigPapa has posted is the Golden Key Infiniti. A bit more expensive than the TKO but it's micro-adjustable. Same 3 in 1 concept though.

The Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter is about the best hunting rest I have ever used. It works like a champ & is so rock solid it is scary! You won't go wrong with a Trophy Taker.
