Default Mounting scope on X-bow

Hello. I am trying to mount a scope on a Horton Yukon but cannot figure out how to remove the rear peep sight. There is nothing on their website to help. [:@] Does anyone know how to do this? I apologize in advance for being a slob crossbow hunter Thanks!

I don't know diddly squat about mounting scopes on crossbows. Excalibur Crossbow's site has got a Q&A section and a forum. You should be able to get all the info you need there. Excalibur

I am guessing that you don't have the scope mounting rail yet because it should come with instructions. But if you do have it without instructions there is one screw going through the side of the peep sight mounting rail, take it out and the whole sight assembly comes straight up to remove, there is one small spring underneath which you will need this spring to go underneath the scope mounting rail which goes on the same way. If you don't have the scope mounting rail Cabelas or Bass Pro sells them. I forget how much they are, I figure 30 or 40 bucks.

I'll bet if you ever get to the point of not being able to draw a 65% or 80%let off compound you will figure it out!!!!!!!!

I don't think so Roger46982, I would probably get a draw lock. I bought a cross gun for my father-in-law due to him not being able to draw a bow. His hand was damaged in a mining accident and in Virginia, permantly disabled people can use cross guns. Don

Whats the difference? Draw lock or crossbow. Having bought crossBOWS for both of my Grandsons I have come to the conclusion that I have a longer effective range with a compound then I would with a crossBOW. Draw lock is illegal in Indiana

Well, a draw lock on my bow would kinda look more like a bow and less like a gun[&:]. Roger46982, you are a bad dude with your compound. My father-in-law can put your lights out at 80 yards with his crossGUN so you are D manDon

Yep right, You should shoot some spot tourements. There is an 80 yard target and most of the AA shooters will numb it with a compound, pins and fingers[], so a crossGUN should be no problem, GO FIGURE!
