No need for apologies, Your at the right place for opinions I am not really up to date on the Tomcat, but I believe the 05 model is improved over the 04 version. Bowtech makes an excellent product and has some of the best customer service. You may also want to check out some of the Diamond bows made by Bowtech.

Here is a pic of the tomcat package. Nice Brace height for a hunting bow.

I shot an 04 model last weekend at the dealer. I was really impressed. It was just as accurate as any bow that I have shot that was 5 or 6 inches longer. Must be because of the huge braceheight. It might not be the fastest bow around but its still more than enough to do its job. It was very quiet, all I could hear was the arrow hitting the target. You can get some decent deals on leftovers now, about $420.It felt good in my hands, I am going to buy one unless I like the Diamond Rapture better. But I have to wait till I find one to compare.

The local dealer in Omaha had an '05 TomCat package bow in just for a few days and it was gone. Price was $449.95. The TomCat looked VERY much like a Mighty Might with longer limbs. I think the brace height was 8 1/4 inches

So what's the IBO speed for 05?

Would those be considered a VFT limb set up?
