Default Allegiance wow

I shot bowtechs new allegience and lets say its quite impressive. It has a hefty price tag but it is so nice. I own a mathews lx now and can not decide to get the switchback or the bowtech allegience. Does anyone know the advantage of the other?

I didn't get a chance to shoot the Switchback, but I did shoot the Outback. IMO the Bowtechs seemed to be of a little higher quality. Don't get me wrong, it was a Very nice bow but I like the looks of the Allegiance better and it is a little faster and just as quiet and smooth. And from what I've been reading here, it seems as though Bowtech has outstanding customer service. But what it really boiled down to was the Bowtech just felt better to ME. To each his own, but I went with the Alegiance and boy am I glad I did....WOW. I shot it today through the chrony and I got a 248fps average with a 503gr arrow with the bow set at about 64lbs. That's with a 28" draw. I do have one question though, ok two. Where do you place the limb silencers? Next to the riser, or closer to the cams? Second, how do I stop shooting it!!!!

I'm really glad to hear the great review's that the allegience is getting ,since it's made by BowTech there is no doubt that this is a top quality made bow .As for your limb silencers ,they should be closer towards the cam just as the limb starts to get fatter is where they should be placed .As for putting it down ,you got me on that one because I've had my BowTech Patriot Dually for 10 month's now and still can't keep my hand's off of it . The only thing that I can suggest is to buy another bow to take your mind of this one LOL.

Here's a post of mine on ArcheryTalk

I did get a chance to shoot the Allegiance today between family get togethers The bow did meet the birth certificate speed of 317 fps with the 301.4 grain arrow and a tied in nock set, eliminator button and kisser button. I also shot some out to 40 yards and it's as accurate and forgiving as anything I've shot at that distance. Time and long range shooting will tell me more but out to 40 yards, foam and live targets will be in very serious trouble. It's very close to shooting like my '03 Pat DC, only smoother and quieter, almost as quiet as my Justice,,,, without shooting then side to side to know for certain. The Equalizer cams are performing with the same speeds as the BlackKnight cam system on my '03 Pro 40 and '03 Pat DC's.
Well, very close;
'03 Pat DC, 70/29 inch, 318 IBO on the BC, brace height 7 3/4 inches
'03 Pro 40 DC, 60/29 inch, 315 IBO on the BC, brace height 7 3/8 inches
'04 Pat DC, 70/29 inch, 319 IBO on the BC, brace height 7 5/8 inches
'05 Allegiance 60/29 inch, 317 IBO on the BC, brace height 7 inches
So far all these bows have met or exceded by a fps or two the stated BC IBO speeds with my chrono.
