Default nuclear powered sight pin

my brother stopped over & he had a site pin that glows all the time . he said it was powered by a nuclear bye product & will last 10 years. he has had it for 4 years but doesnt remember where he got it
my ? is were can I get one

It's probably a pin made with tritium.

yes i would agree its probably just a tritium pin. cabelas has them for about 25$ i think

I give him a call & yes it is that sight . I will be ordering one . it does not have the glow around the pin & you dont have to turn it off

I've got tritium pins on 2 bows and they are great for hunting. Always lit, day and night.

The other posts are right on the money. "Tritium" Not nuclear, but they are radioactive. Similar coating material that's applied on watch hands for luminescence.
