RE: Twisted Cable's
couple things here:
- its normal for equal length cables to have different numbers of twists. One cable runs inside the other, so it will need more twists than the outside cable.
- tillers need to be CLOSE to even, a quarter inch is off a good amount, but there are some reasons to do this, called tiller tuning, however it needs to be done by the shooter since it is to help steady the bow and will work different for different people.
Here's what I recommend:
- set the tillers even. dead even.
- twist/untwist the cables to get the cams synch'd and timed right, equal at rest and equal at full draw.
- twist the split yokes (if you have them) to get cam lean out.
You should now have an in time dual cam bow.
Now sure why the fletching contact needed cable work, but if you are contacting the cables, depending on the cable guide, you might be able to twist it to get more clearance, note you will then have to go back through the above steps again.
