Guy just received a Defender yesterday and is going to be putting it through the paces. The link includes his initial impressions...

The guy who reported on the bow "Crackers" does some very impressive work with customizing Martins and other bows, as well as making custom strings, etc. He seems to a very good bow mechanic and pro shop operator. His opinions on the bow should tell quite a bit.

I look forward to seeing his comments. That defender in particular since it is very similar to the MM VFT I used this past season.

I am going over to Acorn Archery in New Castle PA this evening to shoot the Defender he got in yesterday. I am real interested in the cam set up. I will Take a camera and take a pic or two of the cam string setup.

I am interested in the All. and the O. G.

He's updated the thread with a few pics and some readings- 70# draw 353 grain arrow at 28" draw length, 304fps, with string silencers and loop... WOW!!!

Said it was smoooooooootttttttthhhhhh...

That's only like 10 fps off IBO for the Defender with 2" less draw length, right?

Did I say WOW?
