Default nocks coming out

My nocks are coming out of my carbon arrows when I shoot or just take the arrow off the string. This seems to be more of a problem when it's cold outside. Should I glue the nocks to the arrow? What glue? Thanks, Jim

2eagles, I had that happen a couple days ago in 2 of my carbon arrows when I was outside target shooting. I just put the nocks back in the shaft and put a small drop of Goat-Tuff glue on the outside of the nock and shaft. If I had to move the nock later, I could easily cut thru the glue and move the nock if need be. TerryE.

Put 2 pieces of dental floss accross the shaft in an "X" pattern before you slide the nock in. Someone else on here told me to do that when mine were coming out. Works great

Your nocks are to tight on the string. Your bow will shot a lot better, and you will gain a small amount of speed, if you get the nocks where a small tap will pop the arrow off the string. I usually take some sand paper and remove a small amount off the inside of each side till the nocks are just tight enough to hold the arrow on the string. You could also re-serve your string with smaller serving, but will have to re-tune your bow. Don

Here is my .02
you dont want youre nocks too tight because they will crack the end of the shaft

It is best to have a nock where it will just fit and add a dab of fletch tite to the nock.
fletch tite will provide a good bond but can be removed if needed.
