Inserts for carbon Gold Tip
The guy at a pro shop I go to said all the inserts are the same.I was at the Gold Tip web site and see they have different inserts.I want to use the arrows for practice and whitetail hunting.Does anyone know what type of inserts I should use?www.goldtip.com Thankyou

im using the regular inserts 15gr on the right hand side of the chart your refering too. i dont use the heavier ones cause i use a 145 grn broad head and dont need the extra weight up front.

I shoot 55/75's and use the 15 gr.(silver) insert...on the Gold Tip site, using the FOC Calculator, it's listed as "insert .246". I've been shooting Gold Tip's for 5 years and both bow shops I've had arrows made up at have used the same insert. I noticed one of the inserts they list is like 47 gr<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>....wonder what kind of arrow that would be used in? Hope you get it worked out.
