Default Underspined??

My buddie just called me Gander mountain set him up with an Carbon arrow that weighs 375 with 100 gr. field point 32 inch arrow he's pulling about 60 lbs. Isn't he underspined?

That's 375 with the head not 375 + 100, just to clarify.

Underspined? I dunno. No way to tell the arrow's stiffness based on just the weight and length.

On the other hand, I consider 375 grains to be underWEIGHT for a 32" draw and 60 pounds. It's within an inch of my draw length and, personally, I wouldn't shoot an arrow that light, for any reason. The lightest arrows I'm comfortable shooting from my compound are 450 grains.

that arrow is NOT under weight for even 70 pounds!
heavy weight arrows is nothing more than another persons preference and depends on whether you like more speed with a flattertrajectory or would you rather slow it down and put the arch back into archery

both heavy or lighter set up will completley penetrate any animal on this continent.

Maybe you'd like to consult AMO's 'Recommended Arrow Weight' chart there, BPS. My 'opinion' is backed up by the industry's own publications. What's your opinion backed up by?

BPS, He went with a heavier arrow after we checked out the chart on Bowjackson site it recommended an arrow of 419 grains he went up to about 500 grains. Guess what the problems he was having is over.

It was not only too light in my opinion, but most likely also under spined. The shaft couldn't be much over 7 grains per inch which would equate to a fairly flexible shaft from most manufacturers. At that draw length I'd bet it was too weak.
