Default How much speed loss?

I am considering switching to the 7595 gold tips. I am currently shooting the 5575's, but cant get them to tune well. I am suspecting an underspine problem.

Question is, the 7595 weighs about 16 grains more. Is this even significant?

You will lose approx 6 f/s.

Lets put it this way.....if you were printing a sight tape with my program, 6 f/s would make alomost no difference to 40 yards, and very little as far as 60!

Switch and don't look back.

Happy Shooting!

If you think you have an underspine problem, crank your bow down a little in draw weight and see if it clears up. If it doesn't it is not a spine problem. Just a thought. Be safe.

Put a lighter point in the arrow to see what happens. Like Derbytown said I too don't think thats the promlem. I have only a 28 inch draw but, I shot them out of 75 lbs before and they shot like darts and shot two inch group at 40 yards.

When I'm weighing and grouping these shafts I find and average of 20 grains difference in the comlete raw shafts between the 55/75 and the 75/95. With cutting them off, the difference would be less and you could pick part of it back up with a stiffer arrow absorbing more of the bows energy.

I did crank the bow down in draw weight, and it did start to improve my tear, but I'm not comfortable with that light of draw weight. I also put a lighter point on and it also improved it a little. So I am now really cosidering the stiffer spine for this bow.

Whats everyone else think?
