Anyone shooting these vanes have trouble keeping them from coming off?I bought a dozen new goldtips about a month before the season opened. My dealer talked me into the new blazer vanes and after he fletched one up for me to try and seeing how accurate it shot with stinger broadheads I decided to go with them.I like the way they shoot and how tough they are but 3 out of the dozen I bought have all three vanes left.Sometimes when i go pull them from my target 1 will be laying on the ground. My dealer said bring them back and he will refletch any that came off but I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with these because if so I am thinking about havin him put 4" duravanes back on them.I noticed my number one arrow in my quiver that I always nock while in my treestand the cock vane was loose this morning glad I did not shoot it at a deer wouldve sounded like a helicopter comin at him.Any way anyone else been havin any problems with em?Thanks
Not me.
The blazers I fletched on some Easton 400's and beman 340's w/ gel superglue are on tight.
I did have that reaction a couple of years ago w/ duravanes and "fletching glue" labeled for use with carbons, crap just didn't work.

use the Bohning Fletch Tite Platinum with the Blazers they will not come off.

I like the instant glues too and use them as much as i possibly can
but I have experienced that Bohning vanes will come off with instant glues that is why I recomend using the bohning Fletch Tite Platinum with Bohning vane's both are made to work together for a super tight bond.
yes it is a little slower process and you get some glue oozing out from under the vane but it holds better than any other glue you can use with the bohning vanes.

BF
heres the real deal for the blazers but I preferr the cheaper platinum due to price and it holds as good if not better.
Does it leave a faint white residue after it dries like the FastSet? Thats my only complaint about the FastSet is the white residue it sometimes leaves on the arrow , kinda bleeds out from the fletching.
thats another thing I like about the Platinum no white residue.
any of the instant glues will leave white residue. I havent found any yet that dont leave the white residue on the shaft.
and that stuffis hard to get off the shaft too[>:]
