I still new to all this so bear with me. I'm trying to learn all I can. I'm in the need for some new arrows. I shoot a Outback at 28" dl, 71#'s, 27.5" arrow, Tru peep, off a loop. I'm shooting Gold Tip 5575 with 100 grain Muzzys. They seem to group with the field points for the most part, a 1" low and left 1 - 2 " at 20 yrds but I've heard some guys say the Outback needs a heavier spined arrow. Looking at the charts I'm boarderline. Would the 7595 be to overspined? What effect does being overspined have? One dealer told me if I went to the Axis go with 340's but stay with 5575 in Gold Tip. I question this because the 340 and 7595 are spined the same. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Greg.
I witnessed a 400 easton give a weak spine reaction as to where a 5575 goldtip shot true.
This told me the Goldtips may have a stiffer spine when comparing the two shafts in the same catagory.
No suggestions here.
In a nearly perfect world you could purchase 3 of each and decide through trial and error.
In a perfect world all arrows would perform flawlessly, no spine concerns whatsoever.

Before you make another investment in arrows, try something. Loosen your nockset until you can turn it on the serving like a nut on a bolt. Turn the nock set down 2 turns and lightly clamp the set. Try your field tips and broadhead again. This should correct the low left impact. You will probably pick up a couple feet per second in speed.
Good Hunting
