Default Someone Talk me into a Havoctec...Please!

I would like to here what everyone has to say about the new Hoyt Havoctec and what your setup is. I would like to spend my TAX money on a new bow before the wife has a chance to spend it. I new bow sounds like the way to go.

Great bow..I would not hesistate to reccomend it, though I would shy away from the Excel cam..go with the Versa..less serving wear problems.

I would recommend it also. I got one about a month ago. XT2000 limbs, and the versa cam. I have it set up with a QT 3000 rest, Hoyt Microelite sight, a short Hoyt stabilizer, and a rope wrist strap. Since it's such a short bow I put a string loop on it, but have heard others say that there was no problem with nock pinch when shooting off the string either. It's quiet, accurate, and easy to shoot for such a short ATA bow. I'm very happy with it.

I too have a Havoctec with the XT2000 limbs and the Versacam. I couldn't be happier with it. I'm shooting a Bodoodle Bullet, Trophy Ridge Flatliner Xtreme and a Hoyt full size Vexor stabilizer.

I have a Havoctec with ZR200 limbs and the versacam.Right now I'm shooting Carbon Express Terminater 28 1/2" 4560 arrows and with all the hunting extra's and at 65# draw weight it shoots around 260fps.My brother has a Havoctec with XT2000 limbs and the Versacam also,he's shooting Carbon Express Terminator 6075 at 28 1/2" and his bow shoots around 275 fps at 67# draw weight. So you can see there is a difference in speed with the different limbs.

Yep.....I'd recommend it too..... a friend owns one and I've shot it only about 20 times or so, but enough to know it's a sweet little hunting bow.
Nothing wrong there.....and yes, Versa cam.
It's sneaky quick, quiet and very little vibration or recoil.

Would fit the bill nicely 20ft up.
