My season starts Saturday and I am concerned about this cable serving seperation just above my cam. I hate to have work done on my bow this close to the season opener but I don't want a broken cable either. Take a look at the pics and let me have your thoughts please.
I am in the identical situation...didn't notice it till this weekend. Don't feel unsafe but was curious if it meant it was time for a new one/reserving?

You made me go check mine... looks like i'm in a similar situation... Guess I'll have to take it in to the shop... but also, I really don't want any work done this close to the season.... [:@]
Oh well! Always something! That's why this sport is so much fun!

Nuthin fancy, but hey... it works!
Just take your thumbnail and pack it down (slide it) tightly one loop at a time toward the cam until the entire serving is back in place.Make sure each loop is snug on top of the next.........then just keep an eye on it after every couple sessions.
It will separate less and less and after a few times of repacking it with your nail it won't separate anymore.
It's been well over 500 shots since the last time I repacked mine.
I had this issue on the factory string as well and I was unable to push the serving together. A quick fix is to wrap a 1 1/2" serving directly over the existing serving. It should be thin, as in 0.019" so that it doesn't affect the way the cable sits in the module valley.
It took about 5 minutes to do and solved the problem for good.
I have not tried what Fred suggested though I can see how it would work. I have always been doing as Matt suggested since this type of serving "wear" is common on almost all round idler wheel style single cams. After awhile you just do not have to do it anymore.
Thanks for the info guys, my Justice is doing the same thing, the guy at the shop said it was normal and not to worry, he didnt tell me about the fingernail trick though
