Default RE: quiet that kwikee quiver

Another tip for the kwikee quiver.....

I have seen on many that the quiver itself does not always fit snugly into the quiver bracket which is mounted onto the bow. What I have done in the past is apply a little fletch-tite on the flat surface of the mounting bracket next to where the mounting screw holes are installed. I let the fletch tite dry and then add another layer or two. After about a day I then slide the quiver into the bracket to see if I have applied enough to get it to fit snugly. If not then I just repeat the steps above over until it does.

Now, in case my directions were a little fuzzy, I am not advocating glueing in your quiver into your quiver mount but rather using the fletch tite material itself as a sort of wedge to get the quiver to fit more tightly.

pallof how do you control the odor that comes along with that "great stuff"? Seems like that might be a bit of an issue.

not many know that they sell different type inserts for the kwikee quivers. i bought the one for my 3 arrow quiver that is made for all the popular type expandables like the spitfires. i bought it direct from them. it was like 5$. you just pull out the old one and put the new one in with a dab of krazy glue gel.
