Default Cable slide queston

Does anyone know if there is a cable slide available similar to the Saunders hyper slide but with rollers on the cable rod AND the cables themselves?

Here is a pic of the Saunders slide for those that are not familiar with it.

Quote:
This patented slide snaps on in seconds to replace any under cable-rod slide. The slide glides over the cable on a large super low friction wheel while the cables are cradled in our super slick, super quiet proprietary material..Hyper-Glide™. This material is smoother and slicker than any other and can only be found on the Fast and Buzz-Off slides. Guaranteed to be the best. Available in Black and Chameleon Camo.

Default RE: Cable slide queston

Sorry, but no I don't.
I did install one of those on my Patriot for a couple of minutes and it felt great to shoot, shot the same speed as my (non-rolling) glide slide, which was 1 fps faster than either the stock or a Simms.
BUT the slide pulled the cables over too far IMHO. It was designed (IMHO) for a cable rod that extends straight back from the riser at no angle. The patriots"™ cable rod seems to angle out and away from the risers flat edge. This causes the Saunders to pull WAY over.

I called Saunders to see if they planned on making a slide to accommodate bowtech style bows and the answer was a bewildered "no".

If all you are worried about is the non-rolling vs. rolling issue I'd say give it a shot. They slots in the Teflon are nicely cut/molded and create very little to no wear as far as I could see.
It's the amount of pull that worried me.

Default RE: Cable slide queston

I felt that my cable rod was keeping the cable too far away and causing more cam lean than I like so I made a cable slide that I can adjust for minimal clearance and a whole lot less cam lean.I have been shooting with it for almost a year and it works quite well.Ron
