Default Question about G5 montec

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has shot the G5 Montec? Right now I shoot muzzy 4 blade 100 gr. But I was thinking about getting the Montec and was just looking for some help on choosing.
Thanks for any help

I can tell you that they fly great, and penetration is awesome. I blew completely through a bear at 20 yards one afternoon, touched up the blades on a diamond stone that night, and blew through a deer at 20 yards the next morning with the same arrow and broadhead. My hunting partner had complete pass-throughs on both of his hits, and the heads were none the worse for wear. If you can avoid rocks or metal target frames, I see no reason why they won't last you several seasons. I will say the tips seem to be a little fragile, but the broadheads as a whole are great. I shot through the opposite leg bone and the tip got slightly curled. Three hits on a flat file and the tip was back to acceptable. They are a little more pricey than Muzzy heads, but they are definitely worth a try if you can get past the pricetag. If you consider that you don't have to buy replacement blades each year, the cost evens out pretty quick.

Excellent accuracy and strength. They penetrate well but are hard to get a really sharp edge on. Overall however they are very good broadheads.
