Default Whisker Biscuit and Pin Problems

I have recently installed a whisker biscuit on the my bow and finally got the thing paper tuned right. Now my problem is that my sight pins are way up in the sight and it is not comfortable shooting. The sight it self is up as high as it can go. Is there some way I can adjust the WB and my nock point so that the sight pins can move down whith out screwing up the bow. I would like to get them more in the middle of my site window instead of the top. For now I only really use one pin but it is half hidden by the bow and is very distracting. Any help someone may have would be greatly appreciated.

Technically the rest should be set up so that your arrow passes cleanly over the rest mounting hole, not above or below it, so moving the level of the arrow should not be the first direction that you head in.

I have run into basically the same type of issue with the MM VFT that I am using for hunting this season. Because of the size of the bow in relation to my draw length the position of the peep sight forces the sight to be set very high in the sight window in order to obtain proper point of impact placement.

You could attempt to try different anchor points...high, medium, low.....and change your peep height slightly but this is somewhat of a major issue for many folks and I don't know if it is a good idea this close to the season. If spending a little more is not an issue then you could also try another sight with more "gang" vertical adjustment thus allowing you to move the entire pin setup and not just the individual pins farther up the vertical plane.

Hope this helps.

Thanks PABowhntr-I thought that might be my only fix but thought it a good idea to see what others thought. Any suggestions on a sight that would fit the description. This is not directly related to vertical portion of sight but is there any advantage other than personal in the sights with vertical pins. I have always used horizontal pins but have been seen the hype on vertical pin sight.

Also on the anchor point issue, which way would I head up on down with the peep sight etc. so that I could move the sight pins down.

I am not a big fan of the vertical pin sights as I find it difficult to gap shoot with them. However, for many archers they offer one significant advantage....more of the sight window within the pin guard is open because the pins are all inline with one another. I have never had a problem with this issue though I am guessing that others have.

As for sights to consider...I prefer all metal construction and my personal favorite (with some exceptions) is the Copper John Deadnuts hunter. I do not like the dual lock down bolts for vertical adjustment but you definitely do have plenty of vertical adjustment to work with.

As for the peep....if you raise your anchor point on your face slightly then that will force the peep sight down farther on the string thus moving the pins down more as well.

Hope this helps.
