Default Carbon Rod Stabilizer

Anyone have experience with the Carbon Rod Stabilizers with the rubber dampeners? Walmart has them for $8 here and was thinking about picking one up.

Heck, with Walmarts return policy I'd pick one up and return it if necessary. Just keep the packaging and your receipt.
