Default Ahh the joy of shooting a tuned bow.

I had sooo many problems over the summer getting my bow to shoot properly. I didnt know if it was the bow or my abilities. I was really starting to doubt myself. I had it to several shops, tried several set-ups, worked through the Easton tuning guide and nothing seemed to help it.

Finally i broke down (well actually i finally broke the wife) and got a Justice. In just over 2 weeks of shooting it i am getting my groups tight enough that last night i broke a nock and tore a fletching. I even paper tuned it last night and shot dang near a perfect bullet hole.

I was very frustrated through most o fthe summer that i just about gave up on bow hunting. It is amazing how properly working equipment can change your whole outlook.

I want to thank everyone here for the consistently good advice that is given out here.

Glad to hear it. Tuning a bow can be frustrating at times especially after it seems that you have exhausted all of the plausible options. I am guessing by what you posted that you never got the previous bow to tune so what are you going to do with it now? Would it not just paper tune or what was the problem....specifically?

it wouldnt paper tune, wouldnt group, couldnt get fletching clearance. I ended up returning it to Cabelas and putting the money towards the new bow.
