instinct& a release?

I shoot instinct, no sights. I was just wondering if a release is more or less accurate. Or is it just a matter of pain and preference.

I do think it's advisable to use a kisser when shooting barebow with a release because it's a little tougher to establish a repeatable anchor than it is when using fingers.
