Default Shot the broadies

well shot the broadies and things are coming together. they are flying well. I seem to be hitting 1.5-2.5 inches to the left pretty consistently @ 20 yds. I haven't fiddled with my sights. Probably look at that tonight. Should I adjust the windage on the sights? Or would this be an arrow\bow tuning issue?

If they consistently shoot right or left, and shoot good groups, then I would say yes, adjust your windage. They will most likely not hit right with your field points anyway.

I'd take the time to shoot 30 and 40 yards to get a better idea of how they shoot compared to your fieldpoints. My guess is they will get a little farther to the left as the distance increases. It may take only a very slight adjustment on the rest to get them the same. If they are still only 1.5-2.5 inches off at longer distances, move the sights.

My broadheads also hit a little to the left but they always do I just always move my sights. I don`t` plan on very long shots any ways

Did quite a bit of shooting over the weekend. Stepped it on out to 30 yards. Aside from a couple of knocks coming off causing some interesting arrow flight, I shot pretty well. When I have my form down my groups are fairly good at 30; less than three inches. I hung a 2 inch diameter apple, at the center of the target for my last round of 4 arrows. While I didn't hit the apple, my closest shot was 1\4 low, dead center, I put one .75 inches high, and two to the left a little high the furthest out being slightly over 1 inch. When my form is bad there is a big difference in arrow flight, my two biggest issues are gripping the bow at the same time I pull the trigger on my release, my friend noticed it. I also have a tendency to pull the bow string tight into my face\cheek, bad posture problem. So really working on the form and not dicking with my equipment.

Just a little advice...do with it what you will. I shoot a lot better when I stretch a little beforehand. Mainly my upper body, arms and back. Being loose and strecthed out helps me relax, breath better, hold longer and steadier, and concentrate on my shots.
