I always recommend the Scott Mongoose with the buckle straps.

I'd suggest any tru-ball with talon, depending on your style of shooting that should have something that fits.

Since this is my first bow I am not sure what my "style" of shoting is. I was given a Jennings bow by my sister-n-law's hubby. Him and his family own a small shop so they gave me a bow and it has a loop. It was not the bow I had been shooting up at there shop.

He went over it with a fine tooth comb and Jennings replaced the limbs and cams under warranty. He cleaned and lubed it all. I need to get a release, get the peep sight mounted and the arrows cut and I am off to the range. I cannot wait!!!

If you have small/short hand like me, I would recommend the Scott Little Goose instead. My friend went through couple, including a TruBall, but he still likes mine better. He's saving for it. Not affiliate with Scott.... Good luck!

Then I would suggest either a tru-ball short and sweet, or any talon head, see which one fits you first.

I just bought a Scott Little Goose to replace my wearing Tru-Fire. I definetly prefer the Scott over anything I shot....Tru Ball and Tru-Fire.
