Default feathers or vanes through a whisker biscult

This is my first year shooting through a whisker biscult, would feathers hold up longer than vanes when shooting, hate to get feathers and mess up.Vanes hold up pretty well until i start missing one or two on every arrow.

Default RE: feathers or vanes through a whisker biscult

I had no trouble with feathers .........through an original WB ! But I was only shooting an offset fletch........not a helical !

With Vanes..........I've only been shooting Bohnings on a mild helical ! I followed advise given on here and picked up some Goat tuff glue.........and now I put a dab of glue on the front and back of each vanec after I fletch them !

I have never had a vane or feather come loose because of the WB !!

The WB seems to like a stiff spined arrow.......so keep that in mind ! And if you are getting a lot of fletching wear.......it probably is a tuning issue !

Good luck !
