Default The switch to aluminum

So far I have been extremely pleased. Paper tuned this weekend and sighted in yesterday and today. At 20 yds. they were so tight that I could have pulled them all out of the target with one hand(6 arrows). No major accomplishment, but the last time I shot my old arrows they were all over the place. I'm not getting my hopes too high, but it was a big confidence builder that I really needed. Tomorrow I'm going to try to sight in the 30 yard pin. I also found that the weight tolerances on the raw shafts as well as the inserts was extremely tight. Inserts were all exactly the same and the shafts only varied by a couple of grains at the most. After group tuning I plan to slap some Magnus stingers on and should be ready to get my deer! (I hope!)

Those magnus stingers are sweet braodheads, I shoot those out of my recurve, though I have not killed anything with the recurve yet I have shot it at my target. I cannot wait to have the guts to put down the compuond and tak the recurve out. good luck with your set-up.
